Neck swelling

Does anyone suffer from bad neck pain. The sides of my neck are incredibly swollen and it aches constantly the pain occasionally travels into my shoulders and my head it's been like this for a while now and is worrying me. I also seem to get sharp pains in my collar bones every now and again which is worse when taking a deep breath. Not sure if the two are connected. Just wondering If anyone else has experienced this.

I usually get stuff like this when I'm stessed/anxious as I tense all my muscles, especially my shoulders. - the muscles around that area also tense and become swollen and quite sore. I find that a good massage usually does the trick, either that or laying in the bath chilling. x
