Hi there,
I don't know if anyone's heard of psittacosis -I hadn't until I googled symptoms that my budgie was having! (poor budgie's getting Dr Google treatment now!) Anyway, turns out it's an illness that guess what -can transfer to humans - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001152/
Anyway, the other night I found my chest felt kinda sore, well it hurt when I coughed, and I have been soooo sleepy. I slept nearly all day yesterday, just no energy to get going. I keep getting a cough that's unproductive, and it really hurts my chest when I do. It also hurts to laugh, and I have no energy.
I'm not someone who has experience with chest colds, so no idea whether this is normal? I'm having a few sneezes, but not much else in the way of symptoms (except an itchy neck!?) :shrug:
The parrot disease needs to be treated with antibiotics.
