Hi everyone.
I don't have a phobia myself, but I'm a journalist for More magazine and want to raise awareness of how debilitating phobias can be.
I'd like to write a feature about a rarer phobia, specifically ablutophobia or aquaphobia (fear of washing and water respectively).
I wondered if there's anyone out there who would talk to me about what it is like having one of these phobias?
The idea is to focus on one person's story (our readership is women aged 18 to 27) and then give fact boxes of where to get help, including charities, boards like this, etc., so that people who identify with the person's story can then go and get help and support.
If you can help, or suggest where i can go to research this, then please get in touch.
My details are 020 7208 3394, emma.hawes@emap.com, and obviously my name is Emma Hawes. I'm the Real Life Editor for more.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Emma :D
