Hi, I'm 25 and suffering from anxiety, depression, agoraphobia for about 7 years now and ive recently become anxious about my health. My friends don't seem to understand what I go through so I looked on the internet and fould this place. After reading some of the website I didn't feel so alone anymore.
Thats it for now

Hello -
I'm fairly new too. Yes, isn't it a relief to have a peer to speak to? I have PTSD and goodness so many things I'm learning, but learning will give me power to help myself. I lacked that before. People close to me hush me up. That hurts. The more I post? The more I learn. Glad you're here.

Hi Kate C here,
I am an anxiety veteran and am happy to report that I think I've come out the other side for the time being! People like us never say never do they?!
I have found various things to have worked well for me and hope i can impart this to other people as necessary. I know the misery of anxiety and depression and how lonely a business it can be so I hope at some stage in the future I can make some useful recommendations!
Bye for now!

Hi Biggles, I know what you mean about your friends not understanding. In all fairness to them; it really is hard to understand panic/anxiety/agorophobia if you have not experienced it. That is why this site is so brilliant because everyone knows what you are going through & can relate to it totally. It really does help to know that you are not alone, not crazy, and not weak. I am so glad you found this site & I am sure you will enjoy using it as much as we all do. I know I do.
