feeling hot and cold and hot in the night

Hi I suffer from bad health anxiety and been really worried lately about womens problems- abnormal bleeding and irregular periods. However last week when i was on my period i got really hot in the night and woke up sweating. Since then when ever i wake up in the night i check myself to see if i have been sweating. I phoned the doctor and she said it was hormoanal. As well for the past week i have been feeling hot in the face and cold arms, hands. Feeling like i have a chill or something.
Really worried it is cancer or some kind and doctor google made me feel worse!

I don't post much but your symptoms are so like mine with cold arms but sweaty feeling in the face. I'm a bloke so it's not anything to do with periods! The weather has been odd lately, too warm for the time of year but the heating is still put on at the normal rate in most places, work, shops even at home. I also break into a sweat after eating a main meal. Much sympathy to you as it's uncomfortable I know but I don't think it's anything serious.

And whatever you do ... don't Google!:blush:
