Hiya all

When I am anxious or just before a Panic Attack I get these huge twitches, usually my legs. My leg twitches so much that it bashes the tray where the keyboard sits usually moving the keyboard out of position.

I've never really heard of anyone to have huge twitches like mine, it only effects my legs, I also do get twitches in my eyes which are flipping irritating because they don't go unless I go to bed or calm down.

Does anyone get these twitches?

Hi Jade

This is a common anxiety symptom. Try moving about for a bit, going for a walk or doing some exercise.

I used to get the eye twitches. If I looked in the mirror I could see my eye twitching. It was just a muscle spasm and did go in time.

I've had eye twitches too, they are so annoying, usually when I'm sressed and tired.

Hi Jade,

Although I'm alot better now, I still get twitches in some funny places, eys'e, legs, arm's. They do not last for long. I use my relaxing CD which helps alot.

Thanks for the messages everyone.

Kellynwv: I had the same with my legs, I used to get muscle spasms there too and I said to my brother "put your hand on my leg" he did and he felt the spasms, he laughed, I know it's not really a laughing matter but it's felt weird. And yes you can see them, I looked in the mirror and saw my eye twitch.
