Lump in throat

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm being silly, or offer advice. For about a year occasionally when I put my head down to my chest I would feel a lump slide, strange feeling- but could never locate it, both sides of the neck feel the same- and I seriously prod and poke in my neck everyday! I even went to the dr he couldn't feel anything. Anyway today it was getting to me and I discovered if I put my fingers right up under my jaw towards the back and move them forward I can move the lump out- almost instantly it slides back under my jaw.
I know there are lymph nodes there, but is that normal? I'm so worried. Sometimes my neck just doesn't feel normal.
Any thoughts would be great !

I have tons of lumps on different parts of my body.. and I'd like to think they are just lymph nodes or fatty lumps but ill never really know for sure.

But I do have one like this in my neck as well.

Thanks for the reply... It's driving me crazy! It's under my jaw and I can move it out, completely painless. Argh. I have a dentist app tomorrow so I will ask her hopefully she can shed some light.
