type 2 diabetes

hi guys
anyone on here type 2 diabetes and just started metformin love to here from you

I started on Metformin for type 2 about five years ago and immediately came off it again. I think the Dr over estimated how diabetic I am/was and I was in danger of fainting as my blood sugar went so low. I was taking three tabs a day but I can't remember what dose they were, does 20mg sound a lot? I don't know.

I have since that time been managing my diabetes with diet alone, generally avoiding sugar in food and drink wherever possible. All my yearly blood test come back fine now but I think I am borderline diabetic.
