Small wheeze in upper chest at night?

My chest hasn't been feeling good the last couple weeks as I have already mentioned in previous posts, I have been to the docs twice and they listened and said it was fine.
Anyway last night I got up in the night for something and noticed this little wheeze in my upper chest (nearer to my throat) every time I breathed out. This isn't the first time I've noticed a wheeze there, I've noticed it a few years ago, and more recently as well as last night.
I don't think I've ever even mentioned it to the doctors. Does anyone know what this might be?

I have just replied to your post on the other thread but I wanted to respond to this thread too. I know what you mean - if I breathe out hard there is a slight wheeze but not when I breathe out normally. I'm wondering if this is normal for everyone?

I get this a lot at night and have done for a long time .
takes me a while to clear in the morning [sorry if too much info :blush:]

from what I have learned it is either acid reflux or post nasal drip Violet .
Drink lots of fluids and have hot steamy bath at night to loosen the mucous .
