Stabbing pains in head.

Hi im new to this site and only recently diagnosied with panic/anxiety disorder. But for a few years now I have been having stabbing pains in my head that only last a couple of seconds but are so scary. This last 3 months they having been coming more often about 20 times a day. The dr said it will be anxiety related. Anyone else have this as a symptom I keep thinking its a tumor.

please dont keep thinking its a tumour - alot of people try to self diagnose using the interent and all sorts of serious illnesses come up. THIS IS ANXIETY. ive had it and its awful are you on any medication ??

Just been put on citalopram today. A really hope it works .
