I suffer from health anxiety which my doctor discussed the last time I had an appointment. He said if I don't feel things are getting better to go back and see him.

What help is available to help me cope with my anxiety?

Hi, there are lots of options available to you. I'm guessing he would refer you for therapy, probably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which helps you to train yourself to think and react differently to situations that trigger your anxiety. Trying therapy prior to medications may be a good idea, though I don't know how severe your anxiety is and there is nothing wrong with taking medications with therapy either. There are also other types of therapy out there if CBT is not for you or group therapy.
