Occupational therapist cancelled appointment

Hi there everyone.

Really fed up today. My appointment was cancelled again. I have only been seeing the mental health team for a few weeks and already I have had my appointments cancelled three times.

sorry to hear Serene , I was released from hospital only 2 weeks ago , and also had 2 cancelled appointments one with my CPN and other Pyschologist and know how upsetting it can be they were only a couple of days delayed but that can be a long time when one is feeling vulnerable.

I get the general feeling ( well my local Mental Health Team ) they are pretty much up to their eyes in it ie very busy and whilst I value their support very much , my opinion would be its a pretty stressed job and in general I find when meetings are met they are very helpful , supportive and sympathetic to our cause

Like Diane mentions and being new to the site also , it has helped me , even if just to distract myself coming to the computer etc and reading posts.
