Neck Palpitations when Lying Down

For the past few days I have been get a throbbing in my neck when lying down. I have noticed that then I start worrying and it gets worse, but last night I took deep breathes and I seemed to calm myself down. I don't have them during the day but have noticed in the day when I start worrying my heart beats fast.

I am new to anxiety so wondered if it was that? Trying not to Dr Google......

My heart beat fast for ages and it got me really anxious and in turn my heart wouldn't slow down, it was only when I started to ignore it that it seemed to return to normal. The neck thing you have is probably the pulse in your neck which will also throb if your hearts beating fast.
