Hi,
I take St.John's Wort but is for the depression (that I believe is caused by my anxiety...) I find very effective and no side effects like anti d's... for my anxiety I take Rescue Remedy and also Valeriana is very good. Rescue Remedy has helped me more than diazepam during an anxiety crisis.

...Yeah, I heard it can interfere with other medication so watch for that. Everything's worth a try in my view and not everything works for everyone.

St Johns Wort Chris, is a plant that's been used to treat depression since Roman times. The tablets are like alfalfa pellets in look and smell.
Citalopram is a complex group of chemicals that cost millions of dollars to develop. Lots of folks here take it including myself and it aint no alfalfa pellet.
I was a bit concerned that some vulnerable person would get the wrong idea and stop taking their Cit in favour of alfalfa pellet.
You gotta be careful what you say man. Sorry for the insult:)

And Stormsky, you are awful, but I like you:D

I meant that the practical ssri-like result was similar, ok my wording was balls but i'm posting with morgan spiced as my companion.

I think we all know that most on here are not chemists.

Funny enough I'm having a Clarkes Kentucky Bourbon as we speak, and it has a tendancy to make me into a keyboard warrior:blush:

Mine's a large merlot which is going down very nicely:)
By the way St Johns wort never did much for me, then neither did citalopram in the long run...
Here's to pregabalin( I hope)...cheers lads and lassies!

I took it for a while too a few years back. It never did much for my A&D but it did give me the most vivid erotic dreams. I take it again just for those dreams. I even did it with Allison Moyet:D

Alison Moyet...was that before she lost the weight?
I feel short-changed, I don't recall any erotic dreams!

No Rob, not at the same time, I would'nt be here to tell the tale, and apart from that, Sams girlfriend would be well pissed:D
