Oh my thumping heart..

I seem to feel my heart & pulse thumping through my body it's awful I can move with each beat sometimes.. I'm scared it's something bad.

My pulse isn't overly fast etc.

My GP told me to go by what my pulse is doing... im sure the more you are concentrating on your heart, the more you are aware of it....
lts nothing bad happening... try and relax and distract yourself.x

My Mum has seen a GP and cardiologist about this exact problem recently. She has had all manner of tests done, ecgs, treadmill stress test etc. She does have marginally raised blood pressure (age related), but apart from that they could find 'nothing wrong'.

I say 'nothing wrong' in inverted commas because she is under huge amounts of stress at the moment, and has been for some time at home, so it appears that the symptom is part of her levels of stress. Not dangerous, but not nice to have such symptoms; which will resolve for you once your anxiety is improved I should think.
