Hi every1

am i sooo glad i found this site, ive been worried sick all day about my tingly feet and hands, ive suffered with panic attacks for about 3 years and thought i was over it, but obviosly not, ive been having the shortness of breath and continual worrying for about a week now but 2day ive woken up with this and i have been convinced that something is really serious, i sometimes feel as if im going mad.

what it feels like is some1 has a pin pricking my feet all over, has any1 else had this?

Hi again Leanne, this is a very common anxiety symptom, if you read through posts you'll find lots of people suffer this. I get pins and needles a lot, shortness of breath and rapid heart beat. Hope you'll feel better soon

Take care

HI there
when we hyperverntilate - ie panic breathe - we upset the bodies balance of carbon dioxide andoxygen which makes our hands and feet tingle and then go numb. The way to redress the balance is the breathe in and out of your cupped hands over your face or in and out of a paper bag. It is normal when you breathe funny for htis to happen so please dont be scared!!! Love wenjoy x
