Really having a hard time.....seem to be obsessed with my breathing. Been having pressure feelings around my middle and front of neck. Been to doctor who said it was my anxiety. I just want to feel better, fed up with feeling that i am going to have a heart attack or have cancer

hello there, sorry to hear your feeling so anxious.

I used to have breathing problems too when i got really stressed out, walking up the stairs felt like a marathon, its better now as ive learnt to relax myself when it happens.

Did your doctor give you any coping stratergies or do you have any.:hugs:

I have the same thing, just went to a specialist who checked my throat with a mirror and my DR checked my lungs.. Every DR tells me everything is completely fine and I still feel like somethings going to close in my throat or lungs..

Anxiety sucks.

When you become too aware of your breathing, you start to not breathe properly......I do this all the time and then the anxiety starts with a host of all other symptoms. The key is to try and relax. Something i still need to learn to do.

I also constantly think i'm going to have a heart attack or develop a serious illness< so can definately relate to you xx
