I was put on sertraline 50mg a just over 6 weeks ago. I felt better and improved after two weeks. In the 6th week I felt the anxiety come back and had a panic attack.
I spoke again with my GP who advised me to double my dose to 100mg.
I did this yesterday and after a couple of hours of taking the dose I felt a little drunk. Nice and relaxed but drunk.
I must of looked quite bad as my partner told me to go to bed as my eyes looked all glazed over!!!
I went to sleep at 10 last night and didn't rise until 13.30 today. I still feel like Iv had a few glasses of wine.
Surely only taking one dose of 100mg wouldn't effect me that quickly???????
My partner has informed me I still dont look so good (nice isnt he?? haha)
and he said only take 50mg today??
is this wise? not sure what to do??
