obsessive about sunstroke/heatstroke

Hi guys!!
been beatimg my ocd but some things dont budge
I am getting obsessed about sunstoke now, its horrible. I am worring about getting it or my son, we do all right things but its the thought of it, feel afraid to go out much in sun, love april x

Hi,
I can honestly say that I'm from Louisiana which experiences temperatures of 100 F and 100% humidity so it feels like an oven and I've never had heat stroke. These conditions last for at least 3-4 months out of the year, some of them during school and I don't remember another student ever getting it either....AND we aren't nearly as careful as you're being. Just make sure that you stay hydrated and don't stay in direct sunlight for extremely long periods of time and you and your son will be fine. Hope this helps!

thanks for that! i think they maybe blow things out of proportion over here?
It is such a worrie, i read the leaflet on heatwaves and sunstroke in pharmacy thats wh\t started it off

As long as you take the advice there is no reason why you will get it.

I have never had it and used to lay on the beach for hours lol

Use sun screen, wear a hat and drink loads of water and you will all be fine.
