Bladder and sneezing

Just wondering if this is common. Especially if you are still young and havent had children yet.

Ok I am in my 20s and when i sneeze I quite often feel like I am going to wee myself so I have to pretty much cross my legs o hold myself when I sneeze. I have sometimes peed a little amount which freaks me out. It happens when I cough too, last year I had a bad cough and my bladder got weaker and weaker that was before I developed a mild overactive bladder.

I do have urgency problems and bladder pain mainly in winter when the weather is so cold. But does anyone else get that sneezing problem? I am worried I might end up in nappies later on because it got worse :(

It's called 'stress incontinence' and can be helped with pelvic floor exercises. I guess it's more common in older people like me! If you google it I think you'll find info on the exercises or your doctor may have a leaflet. x
