Hello all,
I´m declando, I care for my partner who is diagnosed with dementia and depression (depending on which doctor you talk to). She was given citalopram 20mg a year ago and it seems to have worked wonders. She still shows signs of dementia which came on over a period of four years, but now she is able to read again, she has been reading non stop since she was 4 years old 61 years ago, but gave up three years ago and was very low.
I found this site when i searched for "citalopram side effects and how it works."
I hope to keep up to date on the latest ideas on depression (and dementia) and watch how older people cope.
