I'm really struggling!!

I'm going dizzy constantly and feels like my head is guna explode. I can hardly do nething. I feel soo ill someone help x

Did I read that you started new medication recently H? If so then this is the reason - the dreaded side-effects I am afraid.

Yeah been on 20mg of citalopram since thursday. Im just soo dizzy and like head pressure :-( x

Hi its a common side effect of cit, when i first started it i used to feel dizzy and have awfull headaches and that was only on 10mg so dread to think what id have been like on 20mg :ohmy: if your really struggling with the side effects you could always lower your dose to 10mg for a week or so as 20 is quite high to start on? xx

and you H, I couldnt do it so ya a braver person than I am, I stopped all meds, hang in there x

Hayley, as nicola said 20mg is a high dose to start on, why not take 10mg for a couple of week till your body gets used to it x
