25 mg is this enough

i have just gone on sertraline 50 mg but scared to take this much is 25 mg ok to take while i get used to the side effects

I started on 50mg and experienced a few side effects which were tolerable. 25mg should be a lot easier on you.

50mg is the starting dose for sertraline but im sure you'll be fine starting on 25mg for a week to ease yourself in gently, good luck xx

I started on 25mg for a few weeks, two maybe? then upped to 50mg. This was on the advice of my psychiatrist.

Could be a good thing . I would keep the GP informed also. Sertraline is very effective and so useful. Good luck,
