But I just went to the toilet and there was some blood in my poo. I am on my period and with a fairly heavy flow. I do get blood on the tissue paper when I wipe my bottom after a toilet trip during my period, but I've never actually examined the poo before. I did just and there were a few spots of bright red blood (same colour as period) on the outside of it.

Do any of you ever notice this? It's just that I am worrying about bowel/colon cancer at the minute so as you can imagine that's sent me into a right state. :weep:

Most likely to be piles and / or an anal fissure and can be cleared up with creams.

Do see your doc if it continues though so they can examine you and tell you for sure

dont forget vagina and anus are very close together ive noticed this on many occasions over the years i think its just from your vagina and nothing to worry about x
