Hi Joy i had this from my gp over 20 years ago, and found it so helpfull, it was reallt great for anxiety,

however when i asked for it recently i was told they no longer do it on the nhs, so i would say go for it i found it to be very helpfull. good luck x

Let us know how you get on Joy, I'm very interested in hypnotherapy but don't have any kind of money to do it. You aren't wasting your money on anything if you're working on getting better!

I have been seriously considering this too. It is meant to be brilliant for anxiety as they communicate with your subconscious to enforce positive thoughts/emotions.

Be sure to let us know if you go ahead, will be really interesting to know :)

Good Luck and please let us know how you get on.

I would like to try hypnotherapy as well but I can't really afford it.:-(

Hello
I too am exploring clinical hypnotherapy for my daughter (anxiety/phobia) - will let you know how it goes. She is a child specialist so have read many good things about it as long as they are reputable.

I had hypnotherapy and found it did nothing whatsoever despite me going with an open mind and really hoping it would help me.

Thats not to say it won't help others though.
