First counselling meeting...ahhh!

Hi got my first meeting with a counsellor today. It's only with my university counselling team whilst I'm waiting for my nhs refferal to process but i'm scared!
I don't know what to expect and uni is somewhere I struggle going in the first place. So many people and exits are so far away so I get that 'trapped' feeling.
What were your first experiences of therapy like?

Therapy is to help you... youll be fine... talking it all through should help.... the university team should be well aware of dealing with similar experiences, so try and see it as a good thing...

I recently had to do a weeks course at university, and I told the staff in advance that I needed to sit near an exit! They informed all my tutors which made it easy for me to hang around near the back quite a lot :)

Think it takes a few weeks to get into any sort fo counselling, and then it all starts to make sense. Good luck!
