I went to my GP last night about twitching and tingling. He was a different Dr to who I have seen before and was really really nice. He said its normal and not to worry. I told him I had googled and was concerned about a brain tumour and he said twitching is not a seizure. He said he often gets twitching of his eyelid for weeks at a time and his wife twitches. He said the pins and needles in my hand was nothing to worry about. He said he understands HA and to go anytime regarding anything I am worried about. I started citalopram last night as well.

Hi, I have recently started on Citalopram and found that slightly twitching and brain kicks (that feeling of falling that wakes you up with a jolt) are common side effects of the medication so if this worsens try not to panic too much. I found that this went about a week after starting Cit. I'm not sure what your reasons are for starting Citalopram but I hope it works for you, it seems to be helping me a lot :)
