Last week I was told my Low Neutrophils at 1.6. My gp told me it was fine as the rest of my fbc was normal. I had this last year alot too but in September a test showed my level was normal again. I'm just concerned 1.6 is very low, gp says I'm at no risk. My white cell count overall was 3.5.
He said that I'm ok and not to panic and he will repeat in a couple of months when he checks my ferritin again.
My concern is am I open to infection, gp says not, but of I got an infection/virus would my body struggle to fight it off or is that not the case? I forgot to ask that.
