Hi everyone of old and new people on here, I have not been here for ages and wanted to pop back on and say hello to you all, I am doing alright and feeling a lot better than I was, I am still on the citalopram but life seems on the up, I have a new job coming up and have applied to go to uni in september. I just wanted to update everyone really because this site helps tremendously. I know my panic/anxiety has not gone completely and I know its something that will stay with me but I try and take charge of it these days rather then letting it take charge of me. for any new people on here things do get easier and you find a way of managing and coping with your anxiety, it still creeps up on me a lot but now i know what it is it doesn't feel so scary.

thanks everyone, I have applied to study nursing in september its something I really want to do, I tried to get in last year but my anx was far too bad and got the better of me, I feel more confident this year. I did a newspaper article for mental health week last year which was a big step and now in the process of planning something else, once my boyfriend and I have moved I would like to set up a help group in my local area, nothing fancy just a place for people to meet once a week or something and chat and make friends. Its very scary going back into the world so to speak :scared15::scared15:
