Im a 25year old male who needs help im driving myself crazy?

I really think ive got colon cancer due to the fact my anus as been itching for weeks with specs of blood not bright red just like dabbing a cut or something? So i went to the doctors he gave me a internal exam couldnt find anything so give me some cream clotrimazole or sumat this was about 3 weeks ago roughly. Tried the cream for a week no improvement so i went back to the doctors again he gave me some different cream dakorta and another internal which isnt pleasant i might add. Found nothing, been trying that 2 weeks still no improvement the itching is very bad and if i put the tissue inside the anus they will be a spec of blood why wont it go. The creams dont seem to be working. It seems to itch more after ive had a number 2 so ive come to the conclusion its colon cancer. If any1 knows about colon cancer please get in touch. Sorry for the embarassing post but im really scared and trying to resist the doctors.

It sounds like piles to me or an anal fissure - did they not say it could be this?

Probably nothing more than internal piles.

Have you tried ordinary Germoloids Cream etc.

Your age would indicate that it is very very unlikely to be CC.

Hey there,

I recently had the same thing, I went to my doctor who had a look and found nothing but he knew I would worry so he sent me to a specialist who did a sig something oscopy!

He found nothing also and said it was probably a little fissure and yeah gave me the tick of good health!

It's just our obsessive minds that play the tricks on us to say there is something seriously wrong and to fear the worst when we really don't have too!

Drink lots of water and add more fibre to your diet for a week or two..... Metamucil will help you!

Good luck!

Sounds exactly like piles to me, don't ask how I know:blush:

I flatly refuse to buy anusol and agree with with you, what were they thinking? Didn't they want to sell it? Can you imagine the Saturday girl yelling across the store "How much is the ANUSOL?" while you turn a ripe shade of beetroot:ohmy:

Piles honey, or an anal fissure. Itchy, uncomfortable and a bit embarrassing but nothing more.

Please try not to worry xx

Hey there, i've been where you are in the past and it is a scary thing worrying about it. However, this is more than likely to be piles as others have said. The itching is the givaway, plus the fact that at your age your fear is extremely unlikely. It can take few weeks to clear, but eat lots of fruit and stuff that will keep you 'loose' as it were, and avoid harsh loo paper and use soft warm moist tissue or wipes, gently! Try to relax as tension can aggravate it as well. As you stop focussing on it, it will subside i'm sure. Take care.
