I suffer from Globus Pharyngeus, its a tightening of the throat muscles, sometimes I feel like i'm choking and I can constantly feel a lump in my throat even though I have been checked by my gp and there is nothing there. Its brought on by stress/anxiety and I would love to hear from anyone who has this condition also? Hope to get to know you all, take care x

Hi there, welcome to the forum. This was my worse symptom for about 4 months last year. it has gone now, to be replaced by soething else, yuck but i know how you feel. I had the endoscope and nothing was found, when i relaxed and stopped worrying about it went away.

Take care

Thanks all for making me feel welcome!

Karen, I have had a look at those links you posted and they have helped loads! Some of the symptoms etc described are EXACTLY what I am experiencing! My throat feels a bit (only a little!) looser already.

Take care, Roxanne x
