Has anyone ever had a EEG?

Has anyone on here ever had a EEG? I'm wondering cause I made a topic earlier about getting one next week and I'm scared and no one responded. Just looking for some reassurance .

I had one years ago.

The worst part I think was that they make you hyperventilate and shine bright lights in your eyes

I had one when I was a kid. I'd not long started getting migraines and I think it must have been something to do with that. I found it really interesting - the worst bit for me was getting all the goo out of my hair afterwards!!! :)
