Hi

After having another "blip" about a year ago, I decided to go back onto citalopram.

The last time I was on it, was for about 18 months and it helped me.

This time, now, I am taking only 20mg but, I am pleased to say I am comfortable and happy with life and am wondering if some time in the future I need to come off of them or, the big question, do I just stay on them.

My Doctor was really good when he prescribed these again by saying that it is better, probably, to take meds than be uncomfortable with life.

This is not a massive predicament but I wondered how many of you are on the meds long term and whether you had any issues with it?

Any replies glady appreciated.

Cheers

J

Exactly my train of thought. If a medicine works, keep taking it. It's non-addictive and doesn't effect other parts of your life in a negative way then stick with it.

Jay ann, i would stay on it if you are feeling good, i came off it too soon and had a major relapse, and found it did;nt help as much when i went back on it.

Don't try to fix it is it aint broken xx
