why do some peeps get better so quick??

this is a general question about meds , why does t take some people like 2 weeks to get better yet others months??

is it luck or what??

dont get me wrong i wouldnt want any one to suffer however this really annoys me to why i am not there yet!!??

i know im on day 5 off upping but yet 7 /8 weeks of the med , ok i started to see improvement s but it didnt last long so iv upped dose again
too 37.5 x 3 a day .

how long does it take for the upped dose to kick in??

i think im feeling sorry for myself but just wann be well again and lead a normal life . any positive s will be great

What meds are you taking? Most anti depressants take a while to kick in. Sometimes it is months before you feel any different. Many different aspects of your illness should be taken into account, what your diagnosis is, whether you have experienced the same problem before, whether you are receiving other help apart from meds? We are all different we all heal at different rates. Be gentle to yourself. EJ.

hi elizabeth , venlafaxine , i have harm ocd , anxiety and depression.
i was on 37.5 for 18 days doc upped that to 75mg,now day 5 off upping it to another 37.5mg.
yes suffered same thing for 12 years on and off but having another lapse....
awaiting cbt
