hi i have a fear of dizzyness as a few yrs ago i had a inner ear problem which after a couple of yrs of keep bieng dizzy every time i looked up or down or lay down flat i finally got diognosed with b.p.p.v think its ware the christals in your inner ear come loose, and the consultant done a prosidure with my head and said that it would put them back in place ,and ever since i have had the fear of dizzyness and i just want to ask because i have anxiety every time i hear of some one bieng dizzy or if they are ill and one of the symtoms they have and even hearing the word i get very anxiouse and think i hope i dont get what they have or hope i dont go dizzy and it really gets me down as i wish i could overcome the fear of it and just wounded if any one else is like it or any tips of overcomeing it thk u

Could be that you fear it because it was what you had when you were diagnosed and it reminds you of not being well..like someone who is sick once in public then maybe fears they will be again so feels sick everytime they are in public.

And perhaps go to your GP and tell them about your worries, just saying it out loud to someone can work wonders :hugs:

ive suffered with inner ear infections many times now,,the first time lasted six weeks ,,i was sick even if i lifted my head or moved it in my sleep ,i was a nervous wreck,,but after the third or fourth time although its not nice im quite used to it,,have a chat with someone they might be able to put your mind at rest x
