ok so i gave in and went back to the docs and checked about blood in my urine, said it was only in there half the time, other times has been trace white cells. So my question is, Why do i have just one white cell? no infection tho!! anyone had the same thing? could i have a tumor some where?
I recently had a renal ct scan and i kidney ultra sound all normal x

thanks

Have you asked your GP why he thinks you have WBC in your urine? He would be the best person to answer your questions.

Hi

Did your GP say their was no infection? you dont always know you have one....so I would ring tomorrow and either ask to speak to your GP or a nurse that will read your notes and put your mind at rest!

Hi Pearl

White cells can contaminate urine from the skin/ your genitals.

No worries Pearl - The GP/nurse should explain things to you more. Take care xx

If your dipstick only came back with white blood cells then chances are, there's no infection and you've contaminated your sample with vaginal cells, like others have said. Try not to worry. Your GP would have told you, on no uncertain terms, if there was any problems.

Yep - it's 100% natural :) I've done it myself a few times.. No infection, no inflammation, no kidney problems or bladder problems.. Just contaminated my sample! Whoops. Lol. I always have white blood cells in my urine. I probably always do my samples wrong. Lol

Hi pearl

I agree with everyone, the White cells have come from the skin or vaginal area which is normal as there are white cells there, I've had this before and honestly this is nothing to worry about :)
