It was my coaches funeral this morning.that was tough. I feel proud of myself though as I was asked to write a tribute and read it at the funeral. I managed to, I didnt break down. I knew I could do it for him. The shaking stopped when I returned to my seat. Afterwards at the wake I had family members and others I've never met before saying how well written an delivered my tribute was.
Never thought I could get through it, guess sometimes we can surprise ourselves. Perhaps the cit and the slow gin in my hip flask helped a little.
Can't believe he is gone.found out last week that he had been on meds fr years then stopped taking them suddenly. Wish I had chatted to him about what I'm going through at the moment, but I can't change that now.
