After cancer is diagnosed and a ct scan is done to see its extent how long does it take for results to come back and a plan put in place?

When my mom was in the hospital, it took about a week on "rush" to get those answers from her doctor. Don't know if it is different over there though.

Not long at all about a week! They have guidelines anyway that they have to meet and with cancer it's two weeks max
