Blood in Phlegm freaking out!!!

For the last 3 Days when waking up I have coughed up yellow green phlegm with blood streaks in it. I'm freaking out now that I have Lung Cancer . Help please

Colour of phlegm indicates an infection I think. There can easily be blood in sputum due to infection or to small blood vessels rupturing with coughing. You would be best to go to Dr for an anti-biotic if necessary to clear this up. Please try not to freak out.....that is the simplest and most likely explanation and is very common.

Valleybear is right, I had this recently and it was actually because the vessels in my nose had slightly bled during the night and so there was a bit of blood in my mucus when I woke up. If you're coughing up yellow or green phlegm it is usually a sign of an infection somewhere (throat/sinus/chest) you want to tell your doc about that and mention the blood but don't freak out about it, it's common.
