Hi Guys,
I wrote a poem for my husband but didn't know where to put this, but feel free to post your thoughts... criticisms and compliments will be happily accepted, I haven't written anything in 10 years :ohmy:
We started out with such high hopes
Then life got in the way
It turned into a nightmare and
I thought there was no way
Out of this mess.
But then I found a place
Where he could find
Some quiet, happiness
And peace of mind.
I must confess,
The process terrified us both
But after just a week
He found that he was loathe
To leave this place, and plans to seek
A life that is good.
I hope that he continues with his recovery
In days and years to come.
His journey is difficult to self-discovery.
While it comes easily to some,
To him I pray it should.
