day 1 of sertraline ADVICE PLEASE ??

hi ive just been presribed 50mg of sertraline off my doctor for anxiety....but now as usual im anxious about taking them :mad:
has anyone got any GOOD reviews about them ???? please :blush: x x

Hi i have just been upped to 200 mg, for ptsd. the stuff works for me,at the moment.i think the key is to be patient with it but remember pills cant fix anxiety but does make it easier to manage

I am on day 11 and was terrified to take them like you! Not had many side effects, felt sick the first 3 days in the mornings but nothing too bad. I actually feel a lot better in myself and less anxious but I am only on day 11 so I doubt it's the meds because they are supposed to take about 4 weeks to kick in.

Hi - on day 4 - so early days - doctor gave me 100mg but breaking in half for a couple of weeks - slight nausea and a bit spacey but nothing compared to Prozac start up effects. One day at a time - expecting 4/6 weeks to hopefully feel better. Good Luck - Laura

Mind was mainly prescribed for depression and irrational thoughts (mind racing) and anxiety!
