Fear of Lung Cancer in full Effect!

Well after coughing up phlem with Blood streaks in it for 4 days I went to the ER . They did a chest X Ray and said it looked completly clear and normal . They said it might be Bronchitis, But I'm freaking out maybe the XRay could of missed a Tumor or something? HelP Please

No they won't have missed anything - you have to trust them

My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer only last week, and it was the X-ray that first found the tumour. So no you haven't got lung cancer the X-ray would have seen something abnormal. There are other reasons for coughing blood and it's not as scary and uncommon as you may think x

Straightforward infection can cause blood to be coughed up - particularly if you have a bad bout of tonsilitis or something like that.

The xray would have picked it up. There's nothing to worry about x

i recall about 20yrs ago thinking i had lung cancer... had xrays, and all clear, and im here 20yrs on, so if they say its clear and normal then your fine
