I have had this blasted headache for a week now including a lot of pain in my neck - when I move my head from side to side and stretch my chin down to my chest it hurts - I'm hoping this means that this is tension related.

Has anybody tried indian head massage? I find massaging the scalp helpful and maybe some ibuprofen gel at the back of the neck. Sometimes congestion can really affravate a headache. I would say if you are feeling sick too its a good chance its a migraine. Stectching your neck will only pull more muscles too. I used to wake with headaches and they would last all day. Keep hydrated and try and meditate and give yourself every chance of a headache free day. A dark room and some relaxing music and peppermint tea will all help.

Failing that I found diazepam sorted my headaches out but due to its addictive nature it is only a short term solution
