Weird mark on my arm.

Well i noticed a weird mark on my arm a couple of weeks ago and its still here it hasn't changed shape or appearance but i have avoided going to the doc to have it checked out.

I ofc am thinking it could be worse than a mole (or whatever it is).

Its about half a cm long and wide (maybes less) and it has a tan brownish appearance and is slighty raised.

Anything to worry about should it bother a doctor with it?

Yeah it does look like just a small mole, I've spent a long time looking at my various moles/marks and my doc has dismissed all of them as nothing. That one looks like a textbook normal mole from comparisons ive done with mine in past to dodgy ones on internet

Just looks like your average mole =) They can come up all through your life I don't think we are born with them.x

Sorry for bumping an old thread but i have noticed i must have scratched my mole in my sleep about 2 weeks ago and it is still healing and taking it time to heal, bleeds on the odd occasion if i catch it while drying myself etc.

Heres a pic of it since it has been scratched

It doesn't seem like it has changed shape or colour apart from where its been scratched and it is not itchy or painful.

Is it anything to worry about that it is opened up? Heard so many old wife's tales when grown up but don't want to Google stuff.

Edit-: Btw the skin looks red around it as i had a plaster on before.
