Blood in spit

I have had an on off metallic/blood taste in my mouth.

When I spit I find it is clear but sometimes streaked slightly with blood.

This morning I checked it and there was blood and then as the day has gone on it is clear with a tinge every now and then.

I am so worried at the mo that I could have something really serious!

Any suggestions or similar experiences.

I have a docs appointment this afternoon, which is about the 8th since christmas as I keep looking for things.

I am currently on the counsillors waiting list and need to sort me head out

I am going because I know I will have a major panic attack over the weekend if I stress anymore about it!

Turns out the doc said it is most likely my gums

I have had the same in the past, was worried but came to forget it, it only ever happened on a morning too
