Job Prospects

I am 38 and recently left my job of over 4 years as it was getting me down. I am now attending college doing a computer course which lets say I am disliking. All my life I feel bored with jobs. I am now anxious/depressed that I will never get another job and also if I did I would probably get fed up with that too. Is this just a flawed character or do I put this down to my GAD/Depression. Does anyone else relate. Also I get very bored at home and used to drink and gamble to excess which I no longer do but at least they took my mind away from things. Does anyone have any similar experiences?

I think anx/depression definately makes it hard to be interested in anything at all, and especially something like a job, where you spend 40hrs a week doing it.... you dont find anything interesting or exciting...Doubting is normal with depression...
So no its not a character flaw..
