headache in my eye

Ive been having a horrible headache lately, its not there all the time but its completely different to what headaches i usually have..
Its mostly in the top of my eye socket, slightly below my eye brow, mostly always my left socket near to my nose.....
Any one expirienced this?
Is it sinus?
Tension?
im obviously taking it as a cancer sign or something, cuz its a new type...

That is most likely a sinus issue, if not sinus, then tension definitely. You can get sinus and tension headaches there. I get both.

it feels like someone is knifing me in the eye bone not my forehead.... but comes and goes thru the day xx

Yep, same feeling here. When I first had it when I had my sinus problems, I was worried my eye was going to pop or rupture or something! Then realized the pain wasn't coming from my eyeball itself but the sinus behind and next to it. It's such a weird/scary feeling, but very common.
