Hi all. Over the last few days I've been doing some thinking about my health trying to convince myself that I am healthy. However, this has ended badly for me. When I was young from when I was 1 to 10 years old I was rarely ill. I had a few coughs but nothing serious. But when I was 11 or 12 I had a shingles. I got medicine and it cleared up and I was fine. But now I have read getting the shingles means you have a bad immune system and it's worrying me. I'm 17 so after 5 years of bad immune system I think my body has been damaged.

How can I improve my immune system? Do you think I'm just being silly? I feel like I can't tell anyone in my family because I've bothered them so much with my health over the last few months.

Sorry for the wall of text but I need somewhere to vent.

If you have a low immune system (like I do) then it will show in a blood test.

Sometimes we confuse a low immune system with just being run down

I got a blood test a few weeks ago and I the only thing that stood out was high blood sugar. I done a fasting test and it came back normal.
