My son had a seizure at school today. We spent all the afternoon at A and E. He has been discharged into the care of our GP but will see a specialist who will arrange an MRI. I'm feeling very fragile at the moment some hugs would be good. Thank you. EJ

Thinking of you EJ :hugs:. It's a terrifying thing to happen. My daughter had three seizures when she was 11-12 but has now been seizure-free for more than three years. I hope it's a passing thing with your son too. Make sure he gets plenty of rest - and remember it's normal to feel hugely anxious circumstances so don't go beating yourself up xxx

Thank you everyone for all the hugs. I did not realise that you had already started a hugs thread for me Jo thank you.. Maybe Nic could merge them? We spent four hours at A and E on Tuesday and have a GP's appointment with a view to make an appointment for an MRI scan for D. He seems none the worst for his ordeal and remembers little about it. Thank you once again. EJ xxx

Has he had history of seizures before ?
