Worried About Wheezing and Chest Tightness

For the past week or so, I've been hearing a wheezing noise sometimes when I exhale. It doesn't happen often, maybe once a day. The wheeze goes away when I clear my throat or drink something. Also, I've been having intermittent chest tightness for around a month. It stays in my breastbone. Sometimes I get the same tight feeling in my neck and back as well.
Asthma is my latest health fear, so this kind of worries me. I haven't been coughing at all and I'm only short of breath when I get nervous. I did go to a doctor about this two weeks ago, and she said that my lungs sounded fine.
I have post nasal drip from allergies. Could that cause wheezing?

I have this at the moment, when Im lying on my back in bed. Think it is where I have a cold and am very mucusy! Keep an eye on it for a couple of weeks and if it still worries you see your gp x
